Creative Confluence mission is similar to Mosaic Guys philosophy: Engage individuals with the skills necessary to achieve a variety of TECHNIQUES for wonderful results with Mixed Media Art. We believe that the best way to learn is by doing. our workshops are designed to be interactive and hands-on. You'll have the opportunity to apply what you learn in real-time situations.... you can immediately see the impact of your new skills in a project. Join us to celebrate the first annual Creative Confluence. With your participation we wil grow and become better! Expexct at least 10 - 12 different classes while attending over 3 days.

Creative Confluence is an Art Retreat focused on mixed media art and the perfect destination for mosaic enthusiasts looking to enhance their skills. Utilizing local talent, we provide an inspiring environment where creativity thrives, over a 3 day event, offering hands-on mosaic workshops designed to elevate your technical skills. Event meets at the hotel DoubleTree Hilton Reid Park, Tucson, AZ
$380 for 3 days of creating
Registration includes all classes & tools use and breakfast and lunch.
Extra costs are $25 -$35 material fee in each class and a $20 cover charge daily to enter the MOSAIC ROOM where you can mosaic your new creations with your hearts content with a variety of materials. Mosaicking happens evenings 6-9pm, Thur & Fri & all day! Saturday (all 3 times would equal $60)
Extra costs include, travel, lodging (lodging is $99/pp if desired)
and materials and open studio costs (approx. $150)

David Jarvinen: Instructor
David is a seasoned mosaic artist that enjoys working with tile products meant for residential and commercial projects. David has grown as a self taught tile contractor & artist into a wonderful instructor who teams up with other businesses for often sold out events with over 200 classes per year for many years to date. This experience caused him to simplify strategy and concepts so that they are approachable for a variety of skill levels. He realized that techniques were the fundamental ways to increase your skill vocabulary, so then, you can look at something and have the confidence to say..."yes, I can do that"

Lynn East-Elkin: Instructor
Lynn is a diverse mixed-media art instructor. In Lynn's class, learn how to work with gourds while creating a Dreamweaver insert suspended in the gourds surface and then understand eggshell process used in mosaics. Learn how to color and use eggshell for mosaics. Leave with a completed new art piece. Lynn brings creative art through mixed media art.
